Personal data that is collected and stored by Orange Blossom Therapies is the client's medical history and current relevant medical information gathered directly from the client, in order to determine whether massage treatments can take place, or what kind of treatment is appropriate. This information also determines how treatments are given, for example, avoiding a certain area of the body that may have scars or recent injuries, to ensure best safe practice.

Clients' personal data will never be shared with any third parties. Data will be held for an appropriate amount of time, depending on how long the client continues to receive treatments. If the client has not received treatments in approximately the last 6 months, their data will be deleted and any hard copies destroyed securely.

Clients have the right to be informed of the data that Orange Blossom Therapies is collecting and storing, and have the right to access a copy of their stored data, correct or amend their data, and request their data be deleted or hard copies destroyed at any time. Clients will be informed that treatments cannot take place without an up to date consultation form being filled in and the client declaration being signed prior to the treatment.

The above is in line with the UK Data Protection Act 2018.
